FF: 30 Days - Day 25

Day 25

Arnav grinned as he came out of the bathroom to see Khushi sitting on the bed folding his clothes into a suitcase scowling and muttering to herself. ‘Khushi, I’ve already packed, you don’t need to do it.’

‘What?’

‘Look, it’s here,’ he took out the small trolley bag from where he’d placed it under the bed the night before.

‘Oh. Okay then. I’ll… I’ll go and get you breakfast then.’

She stood up to leave the room but not before Arnav had caught a glimpse of the hurt look on her face and he reached out instantly to hold onto her arm and stop her. ‘Khushi? What’s wrong?’

‘Nothing, nothing’s wrong.’ She tried to wriggle herself free from his grasp but he simply continued to hold on and regard her with a look that she knew meant she wouldn’t be going anywhere until she gave him a satisfactory response. Khushi focused on a point on the wardrobe behind him and spoke quickly, hoping to get the conversation over as fast as possible and make her escape. ‘I know you don’t want me anymore. It’s been nearly a month and I said you won but still you said you were tired and you don’t even come near me and now you’re going away and you never even told me about it and you even packed yourself so it’s obvious you don’t need me for anything!’

Arnav waited until she’d caught her breath again and raised an eyebrow at her, ‘are you done?’

‘Arnav, don’t make fun of me! Go to Mumbai for a week. Go for a month, I don’t care!’ She finally succeeded in pulling her arm away only to have him hold her by the waist and bring her crashing back to his chest.

‘You might not care, but I do.’ He almost whispered the words against her mouth before silencing any protests that she might have been planning.

Khushi moaned into his mouth as his tongue caressed her own. She pulled his shirt up from where it had just recently been tucked into the waistband of his trousers. Her hands had only just flattened against his washboard stomach and begun their ascent upwards when Arnav out his hands on her arms to stop her and broke apart from their kiss.

Before Khushi could go off on one of her usual tirades Arnav put a finger to her lips and kissed her softly on the cheek. ‘I promise you Khushi, I haven’t stopped wanting you at all, in fact, you probably turn me on a lot more now than when we first got married,’ he smirked watching expressions flit across Khushi’s face as she tried to figure out whether she should be insulted or pleased. ‘But. I should get going. Come on, you can drop me off to the helipad spot and we’ll have breakfast on the way.’

‘Arnav, can’t we skip breakfast?’ Khushi looked towards the bed, her eyes alight with mischief but Arnav doused it instantly with a simple shake of the head.

‘I’ll never leave if we start now Khushi.’

‘Maybe that’s what I want,’ Khushi replied pulling again on the hem of Arnav’s shirt.

‘We’re leaving now,’ Arnav said, holding onto her arm with one hand and picking his suitcase up with the other before maneouvering them both out of the room.

Khushi held onto his arm, pouting as they walked across the grass towards the helicopter. Arnav who had already handed his suitcase over to someone to put into the helicopter for him put one hand over hers reassuringly. ‘Going to miss me?’

Khushi shook her head in denial although she held his arm tighter as if she would refuse to let him go and Arnav smiled. They got to the helicopter and Arnav turned slightly taking Khushi’s face in his hands and asked again, ‘going to miss me?’

Khushi shook her head again before hugging Arnav tightly, her face pressed against his neck as she inhaled deeply, memorising his scent. She was so engrossed in hugging him she almost missed the softly spoken words he mumbled into her hair.

‘Come with me.’

Khushi pulled back to look at his face where there was the hint of a smile playing around his lips, ‘what?’

‘Come with me,’ he repeated again with a completely straight face.

‘But… how can I come with…’

‘Simple. We’ll both sit in the helicopter and there you go. All done.’

‘Arnav. But what about the family? We haven’t told anyone, they all expect me back in an hour and I haven’t packed any clothes or anything!’

He knew that she was relenting and began to hustle her onto the plane even as she spoke. ‘We can phone Di and tell her and we can buy you clothes when we get there.’

‘But Arnav….’ Her words were cut off as he pushed her down onto her seat and kissed her.

‘You’re coming. That’s final.’

‘What the…. This isn’t…’ Khushi looked from the window to Arnav and then back to the window again as the helicopter started its slow descent. She’d been to Mumbai before and this flight had been too short and the scenery they were approaching completely unfamiliar. ‘Arnav where are we?’

Arnav put his chin on Khushi’s shoulder and one arm around her waist to join her in looking out of the window. ‘Himachal. I thought you might like a second honeymoon.’

‘Wait, did you plan this all along? Do you mean you were never going to Mumbai at all?’

‘Still think I don’t want you?’ His eyes sparkled as he leant back in his seat before Khushi leaped across at him and smothered his entire face with kisses before finally arriving at his lips.

Khushi’s mouth fell open in awe as they approached a little cottage, isolated from the main town which was completely decked out in fairy lights and flowers. She remained silently awestruck as Arnav first took the small suitcase out of the back of the car and placed it inside the house before coming back and sweeping her up into his arms. He carried her over the threshold, kicking the door closed behind them and straight up the stairs to a bedroom completely decorated for a wedding night.

‘You did all this? For me?’

‘Shut up Khushi,’ Arnav growled as he dumped Khushi unceremoniously onto the bed and stripped himself of his jacket and shirt.

Her own clothes were hastily disrobed with both her and Arnav’s hands colliding frequently in their rush to get her naked. Just as Khushi reached for Arnav’s trousers his hands clamped vicelike over her wrists and he pushed her back so she was lying on the bed.

‘You made me wait nearly 30 days now I’m going to make you wait. Don’t worry though, it won’t be that long. Just 30 minutes.’

Khushi groaned and tried to pull Arnav towards her, ‘that’s 29 minutes too long,’ she gasped but he grabbed hold of her arms and held them above her head with one hand.

Arnav didn’t relent, first he kissed her, agonisingly slowly and gently taking his time before he moved down to kiss every inch of her jaw and neck until he reached her breasts. Again he took his time, showering them with attention, making sure not to miss even one inch of skin as Khushi continued to writhe underneath him, desperate for more.

‘Please, please,’ Khushi groaned as Arnav began to move lower to her stomach. He swirled his tongue in her bellybutton again kissing every inch of skin he encountered until he moved down to reach for her thighs, slowly moving upwards with feather soft touches followed by equally soft kisses teasing and tantalisingly close to her centre but never actually reaching it. Khushi jerked her hips and tried to release her wrists from Arnav’s grip but failed and as soon as Arnav made first contact with her heated core she felt herself losing all control and coming apart under him.

Arnav grinned as he let go of Khushi’s hands and moved back above her, ‘that’s hardly fair is it Khushi? You make me wait a month and then you don’t even wait for me. You don’t want me anymore do you?’

‘Please Arnav, ‘ Khushi gasped holding onto Arnav’s hips and pulling him down until she had him exactly where she wanted him although his trousers prevented her satisfying her craving. ‘I need you, now.’

Arnav made a show of lazily looking at his wrist although there was no watch there at all, ‘There’s still some time to go Khushi. You’ll just have to wait.’ Again he held onto her wrists, suckling her breasts in turn and then making his way down south to suckle and caress another tight bud, throbbing in anticipation. He kissed, teased and tasted until she cried out his name, trembling and exhausted once again.

While Khushi lay dazed in the aftermath of pleasure Arnav finally released his own throbbing erection and climbed back onto the bed. He left her arms free this time, to cling to his back as he cupped her face and kissed her excruciatingly slowly, first on the lips and then on each of her eyelids. ‘Open your eyes Khushi. Look at me.’

She complied with his request and they both stared deep into the other’s eyes as their bodies finally took up their rightful places after so long an absence. On any other occasion Arnav would have been embarrassed by his early release but he simply smiled in satisfaction as he rested his head on Khushi’s shoulder, not moving from inside her enjoying the feeling of warmth enveloping his entire body.
