FF: 30 Days - Day 31

Khushi groaned and the shrill piercing noise intruding on her dream and she wriggled closer to Arnav, burying her head further into his chest hoping to drown out the noise.

Arnav shifted slightly to get more comfortable before picking up his phone. ‘Hello Akash.’

Hearing Akash’s name Khushi perked up and reached out to take the phone away from him. Arnav moved his head away and held her down with one arm. ‘Finally remembered your family?’

‘If I recall Bhai you didn’t call any of us even once while you were on honeymoon.’ Akash laughed, ‘both times.’

‘Well, I was otherwise indisposed Akash. As should you be.’ He grinned at Khushi who was still trying to take the phone from him. ‘Okay is Payal around? Khushi’s likely to have an episode if she doesn’t get to speak to her soon.’

Khushi stuck her tongue out at Arnav as she snatched the phone from him. Arnav put his arms around her and closed his eyes as she asked Akash about the hotel and the weather in Goa.

Khushi relaxed against him enjoying the slightly tickling sensation of his fingers circling and occasionally dipping into her navel.

‘Hello Jiji? How are you? How’s the hotel? Are you enjoying your honeymoon? Tell me everything!’

‘Khushi, give me a chance to speak at least. Everything’s fine here but you tell me how are things at home?’

The slightly teasing edge to Payal’s voice had Khushi sitting up quickly. ‘Jiji? Who have you spoken to? Did Di call you? Naniji? Mamiji?’

‘Why would they call me Khushi? You’re the first person we’ve called. I was just wondering how you and Jethji were? You seemed a bit preoccupied when we left yesterday.’

Khushi’s mouth fell open. She was still perplexed as to how the family had seen her kissing Arnav and now it seemed even Payal and Jeejaji had seen them as well! ‘Jiji! Did you... Jiji! You have to tell me how you saw! Di and Mamiji won’t say anything! Jiji please!’

Payal smiled at Akash as he closed the car door for her and made his way to the other side. She lifted her arm to wave goodbye to the family but her hand stayed stationary next to her head. Instead of focusing on all the smiling faces waving at her Payal’s eyes seemed to zoom into the couple at the back engaged in a passionate kiss seemingly oblivious to their surroundings.

Payal’s mouth fell open of its own accord not only due to the public arena Arnav and Khushi were in but also the intensity with which they were practically consuming each other. She flushed as she remembered her own passion filled nights with Akash which seemed so tame in comparison now.

Akash sat down and leaned across Payal to look out of the window. Instead of the happy faces of his family waving them goodbye he saw them all looking at him and Payal with quizzical expressions on their faces. He looked down at Payal to see if she knew what was wrong and found himself surprised again at her shocked face. He instantly looked up and followed her gaze and his own mouth fell open momentarily before he caught himself and began to snigger behind his hand.

He watched as first his mom then Dadi and then the rest of the family also looked over their shoulders to see what had shocked Payal so much. As he saw his mom’s hands fly up in shock he wished he could have a full on view to her undoubtedly hilarious facial expression.

‘Shall we go sir?’

The driver interrupted them and Payal quickly turned to Akash who quickly schooled his face to be as impassive as he could manage.

‘Akashji!’

‘Ready to go Payal?’

‘Erm... no, no I just wanted to... can’t you...?’ Her eyes darted back and forth from Akash to the window finding it hard to believe that he could actually have missed the explosive scene playing out in front of their eyes. ‘Khushi! Khushi and...’

‘What about Khushiji?’

‘She... Jethji! They’re...’

Payal tugged on Akash’s arm to pull him towards the window and he intentionally fell forward so he was sprawled across her lap. All thoughts of Khushi and Arnav flew out of her head as she squirmed underneath him, ‘Akashji!’

Akash looked up at Payal and grinned, ‘are you jealous Payal? There’s no need. We’ll make up for it on our own honeymoon.’ He pushed himself up from Payal’s lap and signalled the driver to start driving.

Payal blushed and giggled as the driver started the car, looking out of the window one last time to see Dadiji silently instructing the family members about something and Khushi and Arnav still kissing in the background.

Khushi’s face turned red as she listened in mortification to Payal’s account of the previous day. She used her free hand to hit Arnav roughly on the thigh as Payal talked.

‘Ow! What was that for Khushi?’ Arnav rubbed his thigh before moving his hand and repeating his movements in a more seductive fashion on Khushi’s thigh. He lowered his head to Khushi’s ear and whispered, ‘are you finished yet?’

Khushi took in a sharp breath as she felt Arnav move closer to her and she could feel his erection pressed up against her bottom. ‘Arnav...’

‘Mmmm,’ Arnav murmured against her earlobe and traced his tongue around her outer ear.

‘Arnav...’ Khushi whimpered, completely forgetting that she had been about to shout at Arnav.

Arnav quickly took the phone out of Khushi’s hand, ‘Khushi’s a bit busy right now. We’ll call you later Payal. Have fun.’

Akash smiled as he heard Arnav over the speaker. ‘They’re incorrigible aren’t they?’

Payal put the phone on the bedside table and turned back to Akash. She’d been trying to get him to leave the hotel room all morning but he kept distracting her. ‘You’re no better Akashji!’

Akash moved forward quickly so he was on top of Payal and pinned her to the mattress, ‘What did I tell you to call me?’

‘Akash! Akash,’ Payal panted as Akash trailed kisses along her collarbone.
