Part 6
7th July 2012
Ready to hear something scandalous? Khushi Singh Raizada (nee Khushi Kumari Gupta) and Shyam Manohar Jha widow and former brother-in-law of the deceased Arnav Singh Raizada were engaged! That's right! Engaged! Rumour has it that Shyam duped the Gupta family into believing he was an eligible bachelor suitable enough to marry their younger daughter!
While Shyam Jha has stated that the relationship was a mutual one and Khushi was aware that he was married, numerous statements from residents in Lakshmi Nagar including the Gupta family refute his claims.
However the relationship - whether a mutual one or not - came to an abrupt end after a few weeks and fate intervened in the form of Arnav Singh Raizada who swept Khushi away and charmed her into an impromptu marriage on the same date as their siblings' wedding.
We at the Delhi Times are wondering how much of a coincidence is a coincidence? Nobody predicted that Arnav Singh Raizada, eternal bachelor would ever get engaged but he surprised us all! First with an engagement to long-time assistant Lavanya Kashyap and then abruptly ending that engagement on the day itself and then getting married just a month later to his brother's future sister-in-law and now we learn also the third wheel in his sister's marriage!
Without the protection of AR Industries PR firm we were able to get a few more soundbytes from Khushi than usual. She maintains that while she had been deceived by Shyam, the matter had been solved well before her relationship with ASR began. She also reasserted her belief that her husband was alive and would be found safe and sound very soon.

So it was true. He would be lying if he said he had never considered the possibility that she had been telling the truth on the bridge that day but it had been easier to deny it; easier to lay the blame at her feet rather than accepting his own failings and shortcomings. He had taken Shyam's words at face value. He had played the roles of Judge, Jury and Executioner and punished her without trial.
So now, did he go back? What would he say? What could he say?
No. He would wait. Khushi, his Khushi was brilliant, intelligent and amazingly resourceful. She would win this case. He had no doubts about it. And she still believed in him, still believed he was alive even though his family and probably the entirety of India had pronounced him dead. She would give him a second chance. Even when he didn't deserve it, she would always let him in. He knew it.
Ahh he should just go back! Then there wouldnt be problems with the will since he is alive.
