You might all hate me all for how I wrote and ended this SS but there were certain reasons why it's this way.

-As we're going to have to suffer a month or so of Arnav-less episodes I thought I'd give you all and SS full of Arnav! It didn't work though since for about the first 6 updates, half of the comments were 'where is Khushi? What's she doing?' :P

-I've read lots of speculation that this absence is all a plan of Arnav's and if Arnav HAS kidnapped himself intentionally, I think it's such a cowardly thing of him to do. Although he's been displaying elements of cowardice ever since the beginning of the show this would be too much for me to handle. Forget Khushi for a moment. How can he leave his 'vulnerable' and pregnant sister alone when there is every possibility (in his mind) that Khushi and Shyam will take advantage of his absence to be together.

-Ever since Arnav left Khushi on the rooftop there's been a bad taste in my mouth. Obviously in the show Khushi got over her suicide attempt even quicker than she made the decision in the first place but in real life things like this don't get sorted out so easily. People who attempt suicide once are more likely to try again and so I couldn't believe that he just left her there where she could easily attempt to jump again after giving her such shocking news. And then again he left the very next day to go to England leaving his suicidal wife who was practically begging him not to go and hadn't even informed her beforehand.

-The ending was what came to me first, although I initially envisaged Arnav reading the report himself I decided to go the other way around and have him discover that one thing 'first-hand' when he gets to India.

  4. The first hand experience had so much more impact than reading an article would have so great choice.

  5. I thought the way you ended the SS was a masterstroke! I completely agree with what you say about Arnav leaving a suicidal K on the rooftop. I was shocked to that it did not occur to him that she might attempt to kill herself again.

I LOVE that he got to know FIRST-HAND that K killed herself. (Obviously, I don't love the fact that she killed herself! Or that he'll probably now be near death himself over her death.)

  6. I totally agree with your decision .... ASR should not be forgiven easily .. Khushi dying has a finality to it .. BUT LIFE'S A W(B)ITCH .. many times MANY OF US DO NOT GET a SECOND CHANCE. I absolutely love this SS :D
