FF: 30 Days - Day 16

Day 16

‘Let me go! I have to go put out breakfast!’

‘No, not today. I need to make up for all the kisses I’ve missed this month,’ Arnav tightened his arms around Khushi’s waist and kissed her again.

‘Arnav!’ Khushi gave him a firm push and ran out of the door as fast as possible.

‘I’m not going to work today.’ He looked up to see Khushi looking at him as if he’d grown an extra head as she sat down next to him at the table.

‘Chotey that means you can come shopping with us!’

‘No Di, there’s no need. Jeeju, you’re coming aren’t you?’ Khushi put a paratha on her plate as Akash nodded and smiled at her, ‘see, we don’t need Arnav. I’m sure he has lots of work to do.’ She shot Arnav a suspicious look before she started eating.

‘No, no. I want to be more involved in the wedding,’ Arnav leaned across and put his hand over Khushi’s ‘of course I’ll come shopping with you guys.’

Khushi pushed Arnav’s hand away and swallowed quickly but just as she opened her mouth the speak she felt Arnav’s hand come down heavily onto her thigh and squeezing lightly. She tried to concentrate on the conversation around her and tried to ignore Arnav’s hand as he slowly began to stroke her thigh moving higher and higher as he did. She stood up abruptly just before Arnav’s hand would have moved beyond her thigh

Arnav looked up at her immediately appearing concerned, ‘where are you going Khushi? You haven’t even finished eating yet!’

‘I’m not hungry,’ she said as she shot daggers at Arnav before she moved her chair aside. ‘Di, I’ll just go and get ready.’

Arnav smirked as he watched Khushi walk up the stairs until he could no longer see her.

Khushi was sitting in front of the dresser putting her second earring in as Arnav came into the room holding a plate of fruit. He walked over to her and put the plate down on the dresser and knelt down on his knees next to her. He took the earring out of Khushi’s hand as he picked up an apple slice with the other and put it half into his mouth.

Khushi tried to maintain a stony facade as Arnav’s fingers feathered light touches across her earlobe and down the side of her neck. As soon as she felt he was done she moved her head quickly closing her mouth over the half of the apple slice that was still protruding from his mouth, her lips brushing his as she bit down on it.

Arnav raised an eyebrow as Khushi pulled her head back and began chewing, ‘I thought you weren’t hungry?’

Khushi swung her legs around so she was facing him directly and put her arms loosely around her neck as Arnav instinctively leaned his head towards hers. ‘I lied,’ she whispered before their lips met.

Arnav groaned as Khushi moved away only seconds later, ‘Khushi, come on!’ How was it possible that she had so much self control when he felt as if he could snap at any moment?

She laughed and kissed him again quickly before she picked up the plate of food and stood up. ‘Food always comes before you Arnav, you know that.’

Arnav stood up himself and put his arm around Khushi’s waist pulling her towards him. He took his time, slowly bringing his lips towards hers, ‘oh really?’ Then he kissed her, his lips ravaging hers and he moved one hand from her waist to her own hand, tipping over the plate of fruit before he brought her hand around his neck where she automatically moved it to bury her fingers in his hair.

Khushi had just begun to press her body into Arnav’s her other hand gripping his waistcoat when he broke the kiss and stepped back.

‘Food before me huh?’ Arnav smirked looking down at the floor where the plate was overturned and the slices of apple on the floor. ‘Now come on, Di and your Jeeju will be waiting,’ Arnav said as he picked his jacket up off the back of the chair and put it on as he left the room.

Arnav sat down relieved and motioned the waiter to come over. Even before Khushi, Anjali, Akash and Payal had sat down he’d already ordered their drinks. ‘Akash tell me the truth, how have you not tried to kill yourself yet?’

Akash laughed and patted Arnav on the shoulder, ‘it’s just a little bit of shopping Bhai! Can’t you handle it?’

‘Of course not Jeeju, he’s a weakling!’ Khushi laughed as the waiter brought around their drinks and menus, ‘this isn’t it though. We have so much more shopping to do. I have to make up for all of those times you avoided going shopping for our wedding by saying you had ‘work.’’

‘I did have work!’

Khushi waited until their orders had been taken and everyone at the table had fallen into relaxed conversation. She watched for a while, silent content to just watch her loved ones converse until Arnav turned to her, his expression questioning her silence. She shook her head and smiled at him before she pulled her chair further in towards the table.

Arnav had just turned his head back to the conversation when he felt Khushi’s hand on him underneath the table. She had completely bypassed his thighs and gone straight for the main prize and Arnav struggled to control both his shock and arousal.

‘Khushi,’ he warned in a low tone as he gripped her wrist under the table and moved her hand away.

‘Yes Arnav?’ Khushi struggled against his firm grip and moved her hand back and began stroking lightly, feeling him grow and move beneath her fingers.

‘Khushi!’ The other three at the table turned to look at him curiously and Arnav continued quickly, ‘the food’s here!’

‘Oh good, I’m so hungry!’ Khushi pulled her hand back beaming at him as the waiter put her plate down in front of her and she immediately picked up a fry and popped it into her mouth. She then leaned towards him conspiratorially and whispered in his ear, ‘now aren’t you grateful that food comes before you Arnav?’

Arnav glared at her as he picked up his knife and fork, ‘just wait, Khushi. Just wait.’
